About the Role:

The Art Handler Driver plays a crucial role in the safe transportation and handling of valuable artworks and artifacts for Cadogan Tate in Texas. This position requires a keen understanding of art handling protocols to ensure that each piece is delivered in pristine condition. The Art Handler Driver will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations during transit. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the artworks while providing exceptional service to clients. Ultimately, the Art Handler Driver contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring that artworks are delivered on time and in perfect condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in art handling or logistics, particularly with fragile and valuable items.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific handling instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with art handling best practices and conservation techniques.
• Experience working in a gallery, museum, or similar environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport artworks and artifacts to various locations while adhering to all safety and handling protocols.
• Load and unload artworks from vehicles, ensuring proper packing and securing methods are used.
• Coordinate with clients and team members to schedule pickups and deliveries, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and suitable for transporting valuable items.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including condition reports and delivery confirmations.
