This position is 100% ONSITE. Key responsibilities include: Preparing, staging, setting up, and performing startups and shutdowns of hardware components such as racks, hard drives, and switches according to instructions and protocols. Performing quality checks post-installation, verifying grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling in accordance with safety and deployment standards. Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, identifying causes, and replacing faulty components efficiently. Decommissioning hardware for simple upgrades like memory or OS rebuilds following standard procedures. Communicating, reporting, and escalating incidents as per procedures. Qualifications include: Previous IT cabling experience (highly preferred) Technical degree or certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+) Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components Technical aptitude and any prior hardware IT experience Pay and benefits: The pay range is $22.63/hr.
