Position Overview We are seeking a Contract-to-Hire Django Developer to assist in the development of a next-generation, in-house CRM system and contribute to raising the standard of excellence in our DevOps department . This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to drive pace, quality, and output as we work on critical initiatives, including our Vetting App, Ticketing System, and the new CRM platform. Successful candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance and leadership in elevating our development standards will be offered full-time positions with lucrative benefits after a three month period. Key Responsibilities CRM Development Contribute to designing and building an in-house CRM, leveraging Django and other modern tools to ensure scalability and efficiency. Raising Standards Set new benchmarks in the DevOps department by delivering high-quality, well-documented code, adhering to aggressive timelines, and demonstrating a strong work ethic. CI/CD Implementation Help establish and refine CI/CD pipelines, improving development efficiency and product delivery. Collaborative Development Work alongside other developers and the Lead Software Developer to ensure alignment with team goals and organizational priorities. DevOps Practices Actively contribute to establishing a DevOps culture that emphasizes automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Security & Optimization Ensure all applications and processes meet stringent security, efficiency, and performance standards. Essential Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in full-stack Django development , including front-end technologies like Bootstrap and HTMX Expertise in Python SQL , and a strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles. Experience building and working with APIs and implementing business logic Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices , including Azure DevOps Git , and CI/CD pipelines. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and thrive in fast-paced environments. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset for optimizing development workflows. Excellent communication skills, with a team-first attitude and eagerness to grow alongside the organization. Bonus Skills Knowledge of Azure Database management and Salesforce/APEX is a plus.
