The Fund Accounting Manager, Hedge Funds/Private Markets will reconcile fund positions/securities to outside sources, ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly, and quarterly reports to clients including accounting reconciliations, general ledger, profit and loss, compliance and performance reporting. The role involves maintaining client relationships, leading operations, governance and vendor review meetings, managing career advancement for 1-2 staff members, project management of client-specific initiatives, developing and implementing consistent policies and procedures, acting as an escalation point and problem solver, and driving enhancement projects for technology and operational processes. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, with a Master’s degree and/or CPA as a strong plus, 4-8+ years’ experience in Accounting or Back Office Operations in relevant financial sectors, strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate actions, experience with various financial products, advanced MS Excel skills, and solid supervisory experience with effective delegation skills.
