Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00; Year 3 - $19.50; Year 4 - $19.50; Year 5 - $20.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to your leader.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases with efficiency, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience.
• Offer feedback to management regarding product quality, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to all cash handling policies to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Ensure shelves are stocked with fresh products, adhering to proper rotation and merchandising standards.
• Organize and manage new inventory efficiently.
• Maintain safety by operating machinery and following all safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to move about the store, including lifting and carrying items up to 45 pounds.
• Stockers should be available to work early morning shifts, with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Capable of performing cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective time management skills.
• Knowledge of ALDI's products and services is beneficial.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience is a plus but not required.
