About the Role: Our nurses play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of residents in our vibrant retirement community. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care, conducting health assessments, and developing individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote a safe and supportive environment, addressing both physical and emotional health concerns. Schedule: 11p-7a Friday, and every other weekend. Minimum Qualifications: Current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts. Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in a long-term care or retirement community setting. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor residents' health status regularly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health management and wellness. Respond to calls in a timely and appropriate manner. Document all nursing care and resident interactions accurately in compliance with regulatory standards. Skills: The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which are essential for identifying health issues and monitoring changes in residents' conditions. Effective communication skills are vital for educating residents and their families, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Time management and organizational skills are necessary to prioritize tasks and ensure that all residents receive timely care. Additionally, empathy and compassion are crucial in providing emotional support to residents, enhancing their overall experience in the community.
