The Opportunity: Tetra Tech is looking for Project Manager to join our Boston office. We are seeking a project manager with experience in the planning, design, operations, and management of a wide variety of water/wastewater and stormwater projects. The ideal candidate has also organized and managed the delivery of large metropolitan infrastructure projects from planning, design, through construction. Your Role: Manage and lead project teams in the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure facilities. Efficiently oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting. Coordinate work activities of various technical staff and consultants Coordinate work activities and communicate with various municipalities and governmental regulating agencies. Oversee construction contract management and observation services. Prepare reports and permit applications. Supervise and mentor entry-level engineers. Participate in municipal client business development activities. Develop strategic capture plans, marketing materials, and presentations, present to prospective clients, lead and/or prepare technical proposals and cost estimates, and serve as seller-doer to increase market share with current/new clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (other disciplines may be considered; MS preferred). Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in MA and/or NY is required, or the ability to obtain respective licenses within one year from start. 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater discipline - as a W/WW Engineer and/or Project Manager, designing municipal water/wastewater treatment and collection/distribution projects. Progressive experience in the evaluation, design, permitting, and construction administration of water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, water storage and distribution facilities, and wastewater collection systems. Demonstrated project management experience, including budget and schedule monitoring and control responsibilities. Experienced in client relations and business development. Local client experience is required. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Salary Range:$123,000 - $170,000, depending on experience.
