Position Type: Part-Time Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: You will have the opportunity to take on various roles, from cashier to stocker, while delivering top-notch customer service. Your responsibilities will include: Demonstrating the ALDI Acts Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills. Assisting customers with inquiries and concerns, and collaborating with management to resolve issues. Providing constructive feedback to management on products and inventory matters. Maintaining a safe environment for customers and co-workers by identifying and addressing hazards. Supporting store management in achieving payroll and loss goals. Following inventory procedures and cash handling protocols to minimize loss. Performing general cleaning duties and returning misplaced items to their proper places. Working collaboratively with team members to share relevant information. Upholding security and confidentiality of documents within your area of responsibility. Completing other tasks as assigned. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in retail, or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent knowledge base. Job Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Offer prompt and courteous customer service. Effectively operate a cash register with accuracy. Handle cleaning duties to maintain store standards. Interpret and apply company policies appropriately. Exhibit excellent communication skills. Pay attention to detail and follow instructions closely. Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Manage time effectively for maximum productivity. Meet any applicable state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages. Physical Demands: Candidates should be prepared to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store regularly.
