Join our dynamic team as a Retail Team Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our store is welcoming and fully stocked. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean shopping environment. By collaborating with your teammates and delivering exceptional customer service, you'll enhance the shopping experience for all our customers. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00 Year 3 - $18.50 Year 4 - $18.50 Year 5 - $19.50 Duties and Responsibilities: We encourage applications from candidates who can perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodation: Consistently demonstrate our core values and professional skills. Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves. Provide fantastic customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs. Work collaboratively with team members and effectively communicate with management. Give feedback on products, inventory levels, and any general concerns. Participate in store inventory checks and ensure inventory accuracy. Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses. Follow all company policies while protecting the security and confidentiality of sensitive data. Other tasks as assigned by management. Physical Demands: Stock merchandise from the receiving area to shelves; ability to place items weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Ability to perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older to qualify for this role. Capable of providing prompt and courteous customer service. Able to operate a cash register correctly and efficiently. Knowledge of safe and proper operation of equipment including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler. Capability to maintain cleanliness in line with company standards. Ability to understand and apply company policies effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following instructions while multitasking efficiently. Must meet any local and state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.
